A subject that enjoy me

Well  surprisingly the subject that I liked the most is mechanics and a lot of people can tell me that it's laboratory techniques, but I have my reasons. Mechanics is a branch of the physics, in this subject we study how objects move, in the case of the faculty we make examples with molecules or atoms. We also have laboratory classes, where we do experiments according to the seen matter. The people can believe that it is unnecessary to study mechanics, being that we focus more on chemistry but i don't. The main topics in the subject are type of movement, Newton's laws, forces, energy and fluids. I like this subject because I think that the chemistry and physics are very connected, besides that the formulas explain what is happening, not like in mathematics for example, that sometimes it's just a formula and only that. I also have a great imagination, so imagine the situations is quite easy and finally what I like most I like the subject is that when we do dime...

The expert that I admire

Imagen
I admire a few scientists in general, but if I had to choose one in my field of study, I would choose Michael Faraday. He was a British chemist and physicist, was born on September 22nd, 1791 and died on August 25th, 1867. He was part of the Royal Society (the oldest scientific society in the United Kingdom),  where he learned what was necessary to carry out his experiments. Well the interesting about him is his contribution to the chemistry for example, the discovery of benzene or the system of oxidation numbers and even use in a first opportunity terms like anode, cathode, electrode and ion, terms that nowadays are "basics" to understand the chemistry. I think that is unnecessary to explain this terms, but I want you to understand  how impressive it was to discover all this, thinking about the time he lived and knowing that they did not have the same technology as us. He was a man that who earned fame and respect among his equals, for his great ideas and intelligence, I w...

Holidays

Imagen
The holidays that I more remember are that I had two years ago. Usually in the vacations I travel to Ovalle, a city north of Chile, in which my grandmother lives. Well in this vacations we (my parents, my middle brother and me) trip to Ovalle,  but we are dedicated to going to places that we had not gone before, like the "Valle del encanto" or the " Jardín japones", but the places that most caught my attention was the "Parque Nacional Fray Jorge", which is located in the mountain range of the Cordillera de la Costa. In the park you can walk along a path and see typical southern vegetation like as "Olivillo" or "Copihue". The park has a really beautiful view, since you can appreciate a phenomenon as strange as having flora and fauna of the south in the north and all because of the marine fog. Besides in this chance my grandma joined us on the trip. T he trip made us spend a nice family time that I will always remember

Photography

I am not really interesting in the photography in general, but I can spend a lot of time seeing image of space, like galaxies, nebulas, stars. That pictures makes me feel strange, think about of the infinity of the universe. Besides I like see images of the Earth, or puppies. I don't know about the photography like an art. This picture it's called "Cat's Eye Nebula", was taken by the Hubble telescope in the space on Sep 9th, 2004. Shows the Cat's Eye Nebula (for its obvious resemblance to the eye of a cat) or NGC6543 to 3000 light-years of distance. It is a dying star with 1000 years old. I like this photo because I think that is surprising and wonderful, this remember me that there are things beyond our understanding and it makes me question: How will the nebula be now? If someone want to see more images like that can enter on this link http://hubblesite.org/ have a lot of pictures of galaxies, stars, star clusters, nebulas, etc. , nebu
